Austin Ventures Starts B2B Media Co

AUSTIN, TX -- Venture capital firm Austin Ventures has announced the launch of a media company, Case Interactive Media, with funding of an undisclosed amount.

The company is focusing on helping to bring traditional publishing businesses online and buying and operating businesses in the B2B media nad publishing markets.

James Casella will serve as CEO of the company.  He is formerly vice chairman of Reed Business, where he ran the print and digital media operations of Variety, Publishers Weekly and EDN.
